Karsten Johannessen
Karsten Johannessen, originally from Norway, has a background in mechanical engineering and
project management. He began his career at Schlumberger, a Fortune 500 oilfield services
company, working in its Norwegian subsidiary focused on subsea equipment for the oil and gas
sector. Rising to Service Department Manager, he was later relocated to Houston in 2013,
where he expanded the local service offering and led the installation of several first-in-the
world oilfield projects. In 2020, Karsten transitioned into real estate, where he is now an active
developer, investor, and lender. As a managing partner of Elevated Development, LLC, he is
involved in multiple single-family and multi-family residential projects and land developments
across Texas, including Adaline Crossing (McGregor), Stella Ln (Tomball), Rudel Rd (Tomball),
Padon Rd (Needville), and Wilderness Trail (Magnolia). His experience spans GP/LP roles and
private lending, leveraging his expertise in project management to drive successful
developments.
